Arrow Electronics Proudly Supports the Rose Andom Center

Denver, Colo. – More than 50 women leaders from Arrow Electronics’ global headquarters came together last month for a celebration luncheon at the Rose Andom Center, a newly opened nonprofit organization that provides local domestic violence victims with the safety, support and services they need, all under one roof.

“The Rose Andom Center provides a vital service to our community, and they’re doing it in such an innovative and transformative way,” said Vera Stamenkovich, an Arrow human resources vice president who serves on the Center’s Board and is a driving force behind Arrow’s ongoing partnership with the nonprofit. “Arrow is honored to support Rose and the inspiring community organization she built.”

Arrow has contributed technical and architectural support, furniture, refurbished computers and branding assistance over the past two years to help the nonprofit grow. Denver-area Arrow executives and employees also raised nearly $25,000 in a fundraiser for the Center this fall.

“The Rose Andom Center is thrilled to have a partner of Arrow’s caliber in our corner,” said the Center’s Executive Director Margaret Abrams. “We share Arrow’s forward-looking mission and are thankful for their support, which will make a real difference in the lives of the thousands of victims who will walk through our doors each year seeking support.”

The Rose Andom Center’s mission is to improve the lives of domestic violence victims by facilitating better access to the services and staff of both community organizations and government agencies who together will provide critical services to victims in one single, safe location. It is the first and only family justice center in Colorado, and will provide a uniquely effective resource for domestic violence victims and their children.
