Astellas Named to 2015 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index

TOKYO, November 13, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Astellas Pharma Inc. (President and CEO: Yoshihiko Hatanaka, “Astellas”) today announced that it has been named for the first time to the CDP¹ Japan 500 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) in recognition of its perfect score on the disclosure of information related to climate change.

CDP surveys and analyzes climate change strategies at 500 of Japan’s largest companies within the FTSE Japan Index². The top 50 highest-scoring respondents earn a place in the CDLI, and Astellas was named this year with a perfect disclosure with a score of 100.

Through CSR activities including the initiative for climate change, Astellas will continue its efforts to contribute to the sustainable development of society and consequently enhance its enterprise value.
