Banorte is a Finalist for Premios a la Sustentabilidad 2011 (Sustainability Awards)

 (3BL Media / theCSRfeed) November 8, 2011 - "Breaching the greenwashing and lighting the way" was the theme of Premios a la Sustentabilidad 2011 organized by Planeta Sustentable in collaboration with other organizations. This year, Banorte was selected as a finalist in the category "Good Company", which seeks to recognize companies concerned with sustainability, but also go beyond greenwashing. 

Although the award was not obtained, the organizers gave Banorte a recognition for the wide vision that guides them, requiring them to inform the advantages in regards with impact investing and sustainability.   For Banorte such recognition and to be a finalist is a great pride, but especially the commitment to continue working towards sustainability. Daily undertake efforts to take root in our culture associates change toward sustainability in order to make sustainable products and services and participate in building a better world.   This kind of recognition inspire us to do more. We know that strong communities more skilled colaborators and responsible employees, more efficient suppliers, integrated and environmentally friendly practices eventually benefit.   We support the dissemination of such awards in order to inspire other companies and institutions to adopt socially and environmentally responsible.
