BCE Inc (Bell Canada) Releases Annual Corporate Responsibility Report for 2015

The BCE Inc (Bell Canada) annual Corporate Responsibility Report is now available at BCE.ca.
The report addresses key initiatives that are most relevant to the company’s stakeholders throughout its 5 main categories – Team members, Customers, Community, Environment, and Economy & Society
Some highlights from 2015:
- 86% of employees agree Bell supports a diverse workforce
- Broadband fibre and wireless networks – including largest Gigabit Fibe and 4G LTE wireless – earn #1 ranking in Canada
- Bell Let’s Talk commitment at $79.9 million; extended 5 years with new objective of at least $100 million
- Prevented the release of nearly 55 kilotonnes of CO2 equivalent since 2008
- Invested $546 million on research and development, Bell is top ranked communications company for R&D spending
The report also demonstrates that BCE wins many social and environmental awards every year and is included in several leading global sustainability indices including the FTSE4Good Global Index and the Jantzi Social Index.
