BJ's Wholesale Club in Farmingdale, New York Gives Back During Diaper Need Awareness Week
BJ's Wholesale Club continues to show support during Diaper Need Awareness Week to help draw attention to the 5.3 million babies and toddlers under the age of three who live in poor and low income families.Throughout the week, September 28 – October 4, various BJ's Clubs will provide donations to local diaper banks.
The BJ’s Wholesale Club in Farmingdale, NY, recently presented The Safe Center LI with more than 8,000 diapers. The Safe Center LI is a creation of two former non-profit agencies that separately served the victims of domestic abuse and child abuse, the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CADV) and the Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect (CCAN). Each have been providing services for victims of abuse for over 30 years.
“Thank you so much to BJ’s for this wonderful support that will impact and assist so many victims of abuse,” said Joanna Franco, Housing Case Manager at The Safe Center LI.
