BJ’s Wholesale Club to Help Educators Receive Valuable Resources
BJ’s launches $50K Donation Match Program to Benefit DonorsChoose.org
Westborough, MA, March 16, 2016 /3BL Media/ – BJ’s Wholesale Club announces a donation challenge today to benefit DonorsChoose.org®, the crowdfunding charity that has brought more than $380 million to public schools since its founding by former teacher Charles Best in 2000. For a limited time, BJ’s will match every donation made by its Members up to $50,000.
“All too often, dedicated teachers encounter the problem of having inadequate resources to accomplish everything they want for their students,” said Jessica Newman, assistant vice president of communications and community affairs for BJ’s Wholesale Club. “To provide assistance to those selfless educators who often invest their own money to purchase supplies, we are launching a donation challenge to bring much-needed resources and technology to classrooms.”
To make a contribution to a project, go to DonorsChoose.org/bjs and enter the promo code CLASSACT. Together $100,000 will be awarded so students can have the educational experiences they deserve.
