Bombardier Organises Clean-up Drive to Support “Clean India” Movement
- More than 250 Bombardier employees and their families in Vadodara volunteer to support the movement
- Clean India Movement launched in October, 2014 by the Indian Government
Vadodara, December 8, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Rail technology leader Bombardier Transportation today arranged a clean-up drive at Navlakhi Grounds, Vadodara, India supporting the Clean India Movement. More than 250 Bombardier employees volunteered for this initiative and urged the local people of Vadodara to help keep the grounds and city clean.
"Clean Indian Movement” (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in local Hindi Language) is a national campaign initiated by the Indian Government encouraging 4,041 statutory towns to help clean up local streets, roads and infrastructure.
