(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Chestnut Hill, MA - January 31, 2012 – The Golden Globes may have come and gone and the Oscars are just around the corner but the buzz is just beginning to build around the 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival.

Video is a perfect medium to share a corporate citizenship message and the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship’s annual Film Festival provides companies an opportunity to showcase how they’ve built awareness of their impact on the community and society. The Film Festival, now in its fourth year, demonstrates the power of video as a communication tool.   More than 25,000 employees and partners viewed the videos in the 2011 Film Festival and voted for their favorite. It sent a clear message that there is large audience interested in corporate citizenship stories on video and the film festival format is a great way for companies to further engage employees and partners.                  Entries are being accepted for submission through February 8. Participation is free to members of the Center for Corporate Citizenship. There is a $1,500 entry fee for non-members. Public voting takes place on the Center’s website from Feb. 14 to March 3 to narrow the field to 10 finalists. Those 10 finalists will be reviewed by a panel of judges to select the winner.   The winner of the Film Festival will be announced during the 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Conference, March 25-27, in Phoenix. All 10 finalist videos will be available for viewing and will be showcased before the more than 600 conference attendees.   For further information on the Film Festival or the submission process, email Susan Thomas or call 617-552-8668.
