Canadian Corporate Citizenship Leaders Weigh In: This Company Wins “Most Admired” Status
August 20, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Canadian Tire Jumpstart is the most admired Canadian corporate citizenship/cause marketing program among business executives working in the field, according to a survey conducted by Companies & Causes Canada.
Twenty-four percent of respondents gave top marks to Canadian Tire’s nine-year effort to help kids in need participate in organized sports and physical activities. Second on the most admired list with 16% of nominations was Bell Let's Talk, an initiative to break the silence around mental illness and support mental health launched in 2011.
While Canadian Tire Jumpstart and Bell Let’s Talk jumped to the top, survey respondents nominated sixteen different corporate initiatives that they admired.
Canadian corporate citizenship leaders are hungry for information on better determining business return on investment (cited by 69%) of their activities and measuring social impact (50%)
The survey’s findings are being used to shape the content of Companies & Causes Canada, a conference on doing well by doing good that will take place at the Toronto Board of Trade on October 28th.
