(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) October 12, 2010 - For the last two years, Subaru has outpaced its automotive competitors in terms of percentage sales growth and sponsored "Share The Love," a program that enables year-end car buyers to direct a $250 Subaru donation to one of five charities.

Although the cause marketing program is not the only reason for Subaru's success, it has been very well received by consumers and dealers and earned the company a 2009 Cause Marketing Halo Award.

Join us as Subaru National Advertising Manager Brian Johnson describes the origins of the program and shares insights into how it has performed and changed over time.

Speaker Profile:  Brian Johnson serves as National Advertising Manager for Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) based in Cherry Hill, N.J.

He is responsible for all items related to advertising, including Advertising Strategy, Media, Production, Multicultural Advertising and Dealer support materials. Johnson works to help craft all creative materials including national television commercials, print advertisements and radio spots.

He began his career with Subaru in 2003 and has held positions in Events and Sponsorships as well as Advertising Production before being promoted to National Advertising Manager in February 2010.

Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, in Richmond, VA, and a Masters in Business Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
