Ceres Water Experts Available for World Water Day Interviews
BOSTON, March 18, 2015 /3BL Media/ - As World Water Day 2015 nears, Ceres’ water experts are available for interview on topics including water use in agriculture and the California drought, water use in hydraulic fracturing, and water utility financing models to incentivize conservation.
World Water Day, a day for spotlighting water-related issues and the solutions to those issues around the globe, is held on March 22 each year.
The following Ceres experts are available for interview:
- Brooke Barton, Senior Director Water Program, agriculture and water expert. Topics include: California drought, water policy and Ceres’ Connect the Drops Campaign Authored 2014 report on water and climate risks in corn production.
- Sharlene Leurig, Director Sustainable Water Infrastructure Program, utility financing expert. Leads CFO Connect project to educate US Western utility chief financial officers (CFOs) on new water pricing models that are needed to encourage more water conservation and avoid costly new water supply projects.
- Monika Freyman: CFA and Senior Manager Water Program: Topics include water use in hydraulic fracturing. Authored 2014 research report on proliferating water use in US hydraulic fracturing sector; authored recent report analyzing how global investors are integrating water risk issues in investment strategies and decision-making.
