CITGO And Sun Coast Resources Recognize The Information Technology Disaster Resource Center As Fueling Good Winner

HOUSTON, Jan. 23, 2013 / 3BL Media /PRNewswire/ - CITGO Petroleum Corporation and local Marketer Sun Coast Resources have recognized the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) as one of the latest Fueling Good winners. The Texas nonprofit will receive $5,000 in CITGO Gift Cards to provide communities and local businesses with the resources to protect and recover their technology assets from disaster. This includes transporting communications equipment and supplies to places in need across the United States quickly and efficiently.

"We work to provide emergency communications and technological services to communities and small businesses affected by catastrophes throughout the country," said Joe Hillis, operations director at ITDRC. Since it was founded in 2009, ITDRC has worked to alleviate the devastation felt by local businesses in the wake of large-scale disasters. In 2012, ITDRC responded to eight emergency situations, including Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast and Hurricane Isaac on the Gulf Coast, to help the communities recover and rebuild.
