(3BL Media) Clearwater, KS - May 7, 2012 - Recyclebank and Waste Connections announced today that Clearwater High School has reached its fundraising goal and received a grant from the Recyclebank Green Schools program, which awards schools grant money for unique student projects that will green their classrooms and communities. Representatives from Recyclebank program partner, Waste Connections, presented the school with a check to fund its green school project, installing new recycling containers for classrooms and common areas. The ceremony was held at Clearwater High School.

Schools across the country submitted green project proposals to Recyclebank® in order to participate in the Green Schools program. Recyclebank members donated their points to help fund the schools’ projects, and Recyclebank matched member point donations dollar-for-dollar. A critical program partner is Coca-Cola Live Positively, who helped schools across the U.S. meet their target grant goal and make their green project ideas a reality.
