CNH Fargo Plant Partners With Farm in the Dell Event

Employees from world class equipment, technology and services company, CNH, volunteered to help plant two acres of corn and potatoes as part of the Feed Our Own Backyard initiative.

Workers from CNH’s Fargo Plant in North America were at The Farm in the Dell event along with volunteers from the local Great Plains Food Bank.

The Feed Our Own Backyard initiative drives increased community collaboration and food security in the local area while bringing more fresh produce to the Great Plains Foodbank and the community members it serves.

The CNH Foundation presented the Farm in the Dell of the Red River Valley with a grant of $65,000 to help further its mission and efforts to support the community members it.

Farm in the Dell of the Red River Valley is a community farm with a mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities by providing them with meaningful work and life experiences. It goes beyond just agriculture – it helps foster personal growth, joy, and a sense of belonging. The farm is a place cultivated through acceptance, friendship, and recognition of each person's unique contributions.
