CNH Industrial Russia's Agrovision 2020. Broadening Access to New Agricultural Perspectives

Many things are changing in our society, and the phrase ‘new normal’ seems to have become the norm. Large in-person agricultural shows, which often take place in the fall, following the summer’s harvest, have been a mainstay of the farming year for decades. However, given the current uncertainty surrounding large trade events, CNH Industrial, and its agricultural brands Case IH and New Holland Agriculture, are implementing innovative digital solutions to ensure farmers have access to that latest agricultural trends and technologies.

To this end, CNH Industrial has developed the Agrovision 2020 in Russia, a large scale agricultural live interactive broadcast, which will cover the new perspectives of agriculture, as well as major farming events and activities. This event will bring together farming professionals from across Russia and abroad, competing in and analyzing real life farming operations.

A competition to see who baled the most straw, harvested the most wheat, protected crops faster and more accurately, or cultivated the largest sowing area, while minimizing fuel consumption and ensuring strict compliance with the best farming practices, will be broadcast online on September 17.

The roaring sounds of tractor and combine engines, mixed with agrotechnical discussions will be intertwined with sports-style commentary.

During the agricultural show, independent experts will share their views on the performance and features of the demonstrated machinery and technologies. A wide range of theoretical and practical issues and topics will be covered, including precision farming, differential fertilization or seeding, mapping, automatic soil sampling and the use of autoguidance, alternative fuels, and even autonomous farming machinery. These are all key principals that modern farmers employ to enhance not only the productivity and profitability of their operations, but also their overall sustainability – thereby minimizing inputs such as fertilizer and seed, reducing soil compaction by employing controlled traffic farming and even cutting fuel consumption, and therefore emissions, by covering the field in the most efficient manner.

Viewers will be able to have their say, ask questions or share their opinions via an interactive chat that will be displayed in the studio of the Agrovision 2020 online show.
