National Manufacturer Sets $1 Million Fundraising Goal in 2012-13

WILLOWBROOK, Ill., May 7, 2012 / 3BL Media / PRNewswire/ -- Comfort Solutions has committed to raising $1 million by March 31, 2013, for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, becoming the first major U.S. mattress company to support the world-renowned hospital that impacts children globally.

Having made a significant upfront pledge to the Memphis-based non-profit hospital, Comfort Solutions expects to reach its fundraising goal through donations tied to sales of its products, plus contributions from mattress stores joining the campaign.

Encouraging consumers to "Sleep better knowing you helped St. Jude save children's lives," Comfort Solutions and participating retailers will each donate $2.50 in conjunction with the sale of select mattress sets through March, 2013.

TV personality Kathie Lee Gifford has partnered with Comfort Solutions to promote the work of St. Jude and to help build consumer awareness and support in local markets across the country.

Opened in 1962, St. Jude was established on the premise that "no child should die in the dawn of life." Dedicated to the treatment and care of children with pediatric cancers and other catastrophic illnesses, the hospital has treated children from all 50 states and more than 70 countries. The facility covers treatment, travel, food and lodging for each patient and a family member.
