CECP Information Hub Houses Database of Cross-Sector Organizations
(3BL Media) New York, NY - September 27, 2012 -The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) today launched a new online platform housing its popular Resource Guide, which provides a searchable and updatable compendium of influential cross-sector organizations involved in corporate societal engagement. From ADMICAL to Yale School of Management Program on Social Enterprise, the Resource Guide outlines the mission, leadership, audience, services and contact information of the foremost organizations that play diverse reporting or advisory roles in corporate giving programs around the globe.
“A significant strength of the corporate giving field is the organizations that exist to support and enhance it,” stated Charles Moore, Executive Director, Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy. “We are pleased to offer this handy resource to connect people who are in need of each other’s services so that the entire field may benefit from their collaborations. Organizations in the guide number more than 100 and are split into categories of Consultants, Membership Organizations, Philanthropy Information Technology and Resources, Intergovernmental Organizations, Academic Institutions, Venture Philanthropy, and Philanthropy News Sources.
The guide is the result of a comprehensive assessment of organizations that play important roles within the landscape of corporate giving. What began as a PDF document has been transformed into a rich online hub that allows for exploration among the range of organizations that exist to support effective and strategic corporate giving.
