#DardenDigest: Serving the Changing Face of America
During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May, we have the chance to reflect on the contributions of the community to our nation as a whole. The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community has become America’s fastest growing community of color and is expected to reach 41 million people by the year 2050. This rapidly growing and extremely diverse population is playing an increasingly important role as our country looks to meet the needs of our future economy. For many AAPI students, the cost of tuition can put the dream of a college education far beyond reach.
