Denbury Executive, Whitney Shelley, Named 2016 DFW Woman of the Year
DALLAS, November 18, 2016 /3BL Media/ - The National Diversity Council is proud to honor Whitney Shelley with the 2016 DFW Woman of the Year Award, which was presented at the Dallas Women’s Conference on November 3, 2016. Ms. Shelley is the Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Denbury Resources, an independent oil and natural gas company specializing in enhanced oil recovery. With more than 20 years of experience in senior level human resources roles, Shelley has undoubtedly proved that she is deserving of such a distinguished award.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas, Ms. Shelley went on to excel in various roles with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Integration, Organizational Change before joining Denbury Resources in November 2009. In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Shelley also invests in her community by serving on the advisory board of the Sci-Tech Discovery Center and mentoring with the Professional Leadership Program.
