Dennis Elsenbeck: the Man to Know in Buffalo
First, let’s note that recognition from the highly influential publication Buffalo Business First doesn’t come easily. Companies don’t nominate their employees, and hopefuls aren’t allowed to submit their own names for consideration.
As the commercial says, you have to earn it.
Which means when National Grid regional director Dennis Elsenbeck was recently named to Buffalo Business First’s 2015 Power 250 list – for the third year running – he did.
Climbing the list each year and now at #112, Dennis was spotlighted as one of Western New York’s top 250 most influential people, alongside high-level federal, state and local officials, regional business executives, and other community leaders and influencers. (The #1 spot this year is held by the state lieutenant governor.)
And while deciding who makes the list for the eight-county region is the job of Buffalo Business First staff, Steve Brady, National Grid manager of NY Strategic Communications, has his own take on the outcome.
“Every day, I’m fortunate to witness Dennis’ commitment to this region, his passion for stakeholder engagement, his exemplary representation of National Grid and our brand, and his inability to say ‘no’ to any good cause,” said Steve. “To me, it speaks volumes that the community recognizes it as well.”
