In 2012, more than 2,500 partners from all 50 states joined in the initiative, leading to more than $10 million in online donations a 46% increase in online donations and an average gift increase of 25%. More than 50 million people worldwide spread the word about #GivingTuesday – resulting in milestone trending on Twitter.
