Dold Foods Donates $16,000 to Wichita YMCA for Summer Camp Meals
WICHITA, Kan., March 16, 2022 /3BL Media/ - For the second consecutive year, Dold Foods, the local manufacturing facility owned by Hormel Foods Corporation, (NYSE: HRL), today announced a donation of $16,000 to the Greater Wichita YMCA to provide meals for youth in the Wichita, Kan., area. The funds will be used to provide meals to participants in the YMCA Adventure Summer Camp program.
“We are pleased to be making this donation to the Greater Wichita YMCA in support of their summer lunch program,” said Curtis Southard, plant manager, Dold Foods. “Last year we were able to provide 3,750 lunches to 135 kids and families all summer long. We are proud to partner with the YMCA to support our youth and help provide the nourishment these kids need.”
