Drew Butera and Chris Young Present New Baseball Gloves to Miracle League of Kansas City Participants
Drew Butera and Chris Young of the Kansas City Royals presented new baseball gloves to Miracle League of Kansas City participants. The event was held on April 23 as part of the Players Trust’s City Clinics program.
City Clinics is a grass-roots campaign developed by – and featuring the active participation of – current Major Leaguers to promote the game of baseball to under-served children across the country.
Butera and Young presented baseball gloves to 100 Miracle League of Kansas City youth participants. The Miracle League mission is to provide opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball, regardless of their abilities. They also promote the construction of special facilities that meet the unique needs of Miracle League players and their families.
