Ethisphere’s Second-Annual World’s Most Ethical Companies Best Practices in Ethics Communications Workshop
September 18, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Coordinated by the Communications Advisory Board of the Ethisphere Institute, the workshop will feature expert commentary from industry leaders — combined with interactive discussion among all workshop participants — focused on key business issues and best practice sharing.
The robust dialogue around this year’s theme, “Working Across the C-suite,” will include a dual focus:
- Participants will delve into internal communication strategies that contribute to creating an ethical business culture that engages staff and enables organizations to earn and maintain WME recognition.
- The select audience will also explore external communication programs that highlight ethics as a differentiating brand attribute and positively position the business community with external stakeholder audiences.
This is a one-of-a-kind event designed to share best practices and provide insight into key business topics — and network — while advancing the important dialogue around ethics and integrity as a key driver of corporate reputation.
“We are excited to bring this year’s workshop to the New York Stock Exchange’s iconic meeting facilities,” said Paul Gennaro, senior vice president and chief communications officer, AECOM Technology Corporation, a WME company for three consecutive years. “Our positive feedback from the inaugural workshop last year was off the charts — and this year’s event looks to be even better,” added Gennaro, who also chairs Ethisphere’s Communications Advisory Board.
Earlier this year, Corporate Secretary magazine named AECOM as the award winner for “Best Overall Governance, Compliance and Ethics Program (small to mid-cap)” as part of its annual Corporate Governance Awards competition, and the Ethisphere Institute ranked AECOM as one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” for three consecutive years, 2011-13.
