Fifth Third Bank to Present for Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy
Fifth Third Assistant Vice President and Environmental Sustainability Leader Jeremy Faust will participate in a panel at the Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy in Ohio on September 1. The panel, “Multi-Billion Dollar Ohio Solar Industry and its Benefits for Ohio Communities” features participants from Ohio University, First Solar and Open Road Renewables in addition to Fifth Third Bank. The event is co-hosted by the Toledo Regional Chamber.
Faust will present “ESG, Solar and Sustainability” and speak about Fifth Third’s innovative power purchase agreement announced in March 2018, and its achievement of 100% renewable power in 2019. Fifth Third was the first Fortune 500 company to achieve 100% renewable power through a single, solar project. The 80 MWac/120 MWdc Aulander Holloman Solar Facility is located in North Carolina and was developed by SunEnergy1.
