Fifth Third Employees in Kentucky Volunteer During May in Honor of Fifth Third Day
Fifth Third Bank employees in Kentucky are celebrating Fifth Third Day during the month of May by fighting food insecurity in the communities where they live and work.
Fifth Third volunteers helped God's Pantry Food Bank sort food donations and served hot meals at St. Vincent de Paul Louisville’s Open Hand Kitchen. Some employees are also filling and decorating healthy snack bags for Metro United Way’s Out of School Program.
The Bank has recognized 5/3 on the calendar as Fifth Third Day since 1991, and since 2012 the Bank and its employees have worked toward a common goal to fight hunger. This year’s goal is to provide 10 million meals across its retail footprint and to tackle food insecurity one community at a time.
