Film Festival Spotlight: 2016 Best in Show Winner athenahealth

At the 2016 Film Festival, athenahealth won Best in Show for its video titled, "athenaGives: Connecting Care for the Uninsured," show how athenahealth provides donations of its network-enabled services to eligible free clinics across the country, including New Braunfels Volunteers in Medicine. The clinic actively cares for about 1,000 patients in New Braunfels, Texas where an estimated 20,000 people are uninsured. Since going live last year, athenaNet has enabled New Braunfels' staff and volunteer providers to collaboratively care for patients, many with multiple chronic diseases, while maintaining a high level of quality care.
