We all love to be heard and what can be better than being heard so that we can have a positive impact on individuals and communities who need it most. Now is your chance!
MetLife Foundation is the exclusive sponsor of The Financial Inclusion Challenge managed by The Wall Street Journal. This spring, the Journal invited non-profit and for-profit enterprises from around the world to submit short video proposals that showcased their solutions to the problems of financial access for the poor. The Challenge asked contestants to focus on addressing the difficulties affecting individuals’ ability to join and stay in the financial mainstream in the Asia-Pacific region.
After receiving dozens of entries, an independent panel of judges assessed these solutions based on whether they have had a meaningful impact on financial inclusion in Asia-Pacific. The entries were divided into three categories: technology; education; and operational effectiveness. There will be one winner from each category, and an overall Challenge winner – all chosen by the judges BUT there is a People’s Choice winner. And, you get to vote for the one you think best deserves to win. Voting is open from June 17 t0 26.
