FPT Industrial: Training the Next Generation of Engineers
CNH Industrial’s global powertrain brand FPT Industrial is committed to developing ever more efficient engines, and to ensure this continues into the future, the Brand is committed to developing the engineers of the future who will help them achieve this. With a strong presence through university research and development, the Brand promoted a Training Day at the Military Engineering Institute, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a series of four lectures on the latest powertrain solutions.
Regarding the themes of Alternative Propulsion, Electronic Diesel Engine Calibration, Diagnosis of Diesel Engines and Technologies for Treatment of Emissions, the presentations, were directed to the 4th and 5th year students studying Mechanical Engineering with Automotive Emphasis.
FPT Industrial is committed to reaching the broadest number of students and in May 2019, the Brand also gave lectures on the Development of New Engines, Alternative Fuels and Technology Applied to Knowledge, at the UNA University campuses in Aimorés, Belo Horizonte and Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and lectures entitled Development of Prototypes and Analysis of Lubricating Oils, at IFMG, the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais in Betim, Minas Gerais state.
Recently the brand also donated a F1A engine to the Agronomic Engineering course at the Federal University of São João del Rei (UFSJ), Sete Lagoas campus, Minas Gerais state. The engine will be used by the students studying Machinery and Agricultural Mechanization.
