According to the FBI’s most recent data, there were almost 8 million property crime offenses in the United States in 2015. And, according to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) estimates, roughly 2 million employees per year are affected by some form of workplace violence.
In light of these worrying statistics, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center will host a webinar, Addressing Today’s Safety and Security Threats. The session is intended to help businesses better understand what threats they face, and what steps they can take now to mitigate potential problems.
The webinar will provide practical advice for businesses to understand their top security threats, identify strategies owners and employees can take before a crime occurs, reduce business vulnerability, and work with employees to design effective plans for responding when an incident occurs.
