Freeport-McMoRan Awards $350,000 in Grants to Eastern Arizona Communities
Freeport-McMoRan’s Community Investment Fund distributed $350,000 in Graham County, Arizona.
One of the recipients of the fund was Southeastern Arizona Community Unique Services (SEACUS), which provides support services for aging and disabled community members.
The funding SEACUS received from the Freeport-McMoRan Community Investment distribution will increase clients served, improve access to quality health care, and reduce the financial burden of caregivers.
The Graham County Community Investment Fund was established in 2009 by Freeport-McMoRan to focus on programs and projects that create a sustainable community benefit. Funding decisions are made by a committee comprised of local leaders and two company representatives.
