General Mills Joins HandsOn Twin Cities and the Minnesota Vikings for MLK Day of Service
General Mills, in collaboration with HandsOn Twin Cities and the Minnesota Vikings hosted an MLK Holiday Service Event on Monday, January 20 at US Bank Stadium. By working together, the shared vision of making MLK Day a “day on” rather than a “day off” became a reality. More than 700 people gathered to participate in volunteerism and celebrate the legacy of MLK. With a focus on education, 5,000 school supply kits, snack packs, and teacher appreciation cards were assembled and given to Kids In Need Minnesota to support students across the state.
