September 4, 2015 /3BL Media/ - It is with great enthusiasm that we would like to announce that Grupo Financiero Banorte has been accredited by the distinctive Organización Responsablemente Saludable ORS (responsibly healthy organization in English),  in the Development and Growth Stage, as a result of daily efforts to foster a culture in favor of health and environments conducive to well-being in the workplace among employees.

GFNorte obtained this recognition thanks to the hard work carried out, to educate personnel about the importance of healthy living through various initiatives, among which stand out:

  • Conferences promoting healthy lifestyle habits
  • Weekly postcards and monthly articles on health issues
  • Nutritional coaching for employees
  •  Employee call center: Advice for the prevention and management of stress or crisis and nutritional situations.
  • Benefit of free morning snacks (Torre Sur and Santa Fe Corporate offices)
  • Alternative medicine using Bio-magnetism (Santa Fe Corporate offices) 
  • Anti-stress massage service (Santa Fe Corporate offices)
  • Signs promoting the use of stairs instead of elevators, indicating stretching areas and active meetings (Torre Sur and Santa Fe Corporate offices)

Receiving this recognition means that our wellness program “Vive Sano, Vive Banorte” understands and applies the institution’s values, thereby ensuring the success of these activities to achieve ever more participation and commitment from employees.

This acknowledgement is a great incentive for Banorte to continue working with the leadership that characterizes it, in prevention management and the health and well-being of its most valuable asset: its people. It is for them, that right now in addition to having obtained the Accreditation as a Responsibly Healthy Company (Empresa Saludablemente Responsable in spanish), by making a voluntary and public commitment to the promotion of health and wellness, GFNorte has also proudly become an Organización Responsablemente Saludable (ORS)   (responsibly healthy organization).
