Goodyear India Limited Partners with Humana People to People India (HPPI) to Ensure Quality Education for Girls in Government Schools of Haryana
Goodyear India Limited, as part of Goodyear’s Better Future CSR strategy, is supporting the Government Girls Primary School (GGPS) in Faridabad and Ballabhgarh, Haryana in its aim to enhance the quality and accessibility of education for female students. Goodyear supported infrastructural development and education quality enhancement activities in both the schools, including:

Providing remedial support for 200 girls (100 in each school) who were identified as weak in specific areas of studies so that they can continue seamlessly learning with their peers,

Creating awareness and promoting good sanitation habits amongst children by providing toilet blocks and safe drinking water facilities,

Upgrading school infrastructure for holistic growth by renovating playgrounds and planting trees,

Addressing dropout rates through interventions and
-
Contributing to improve the academic performance of children by providing an e-learning infrastructure.
To encourage the female students, Goodyear India Limited and HPPI hosted an event to inaugurate the revamped schools on International Women’s Day (March 8) at the Government Girls Primary School, Ballabgarh. This event celebrated and recognized the contribution of females in various fields of academics, sports and other co-curricular activities. The event was a step towards ensuring equal educational opportunities for female students and ensuring equal access to educational amenities.
