How AHC's Holistic Approach to Affordable Housing Provides Life-changing Programs for Residents

AHC Inc. provides quality Affordable Housing Communities for over 2,500 low and very-low income families in Arlington. It also offers onsite year-round educational programs for students living at five AHC properties including After-School literacy activities, one-on-one Teen Tutoring, College & Career Readiness, and a Summer Camp to prevent learning loss.

Every time AHC Inc. builds an affordable housing community, we become a support system for so many parents trying to make ends meet. With stable housing and educational opportunities for at-risk children, we have been helping families thrive since 1975.

Your Gift Will Make A Difference:

  • $1 per paycheck - provides literacy building activities for low-income children, including phonics games, audiobooks and listening devices, vocabulary puzzles, and more!   
  • $5 per paycheck - helps one deserving child with a Summer Camp scholarship.
  • $15 per paycheck - supports a college orientation field trip for high school juniors and seniors.

Five community centers in Arlington offer year-round education programs for at-risk students from elementary school age right through the college acceptance process.
