#GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable holiday season, and for the second year in a row, VolunteerMatch is joining forces with U.S. Bank to inspire good people to #GiveTime in honor of #GivingTuesday.

This year, we’re focusing on what’s near and dear to so many of us during the holidays — home.

The case for a stable, healthy home environment is clear: children and families are more likely to thrive and succeed in a home that’s safe and permanent, located in a community that’s thriving. Ask yourself, “What does home mean to me?” and you’ll see there are endless ways to make home possible for those in your community.

Whether you’re preparing a home-cooked meal, providing a safe and loving home for a shelter pet, building new homes for those in need or sending mementos of home to service members abroad, we want to hear your story.
