T. Rowe Price’s financial education efforts focus on improving financial capabilities, particularly among children, because stronger financial capabilities can result in improved standards of living and more stable communities. The firm’s Money Confident Kids® program is the cornerstone of its financial education program and targets children who are 8 to 14 years, encouraging them to develop good financial habits early, have their parents discuss money matters with them weekly, and improve educator confidence.
In 2015, the firm’s Money Confident Kids® program reached 1.5 million people through its financial education websites, online games, apps, exhibits, programs with Scholastic and Junior Achievement, and sponsored events.
