Howard S. Wright Golf Tournament Raises $45,500 for CHI Franciscan Health Systems
SEATTLE, October 15, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Howard S. Wright, the Washington state division of Balfour Beatty Construction, helped raise $45,000 for the CHI Franciscan Health System through the division’s 11th annual golf tournament. The tournament was held on September 25 at The Golf Course at Newcastle, and was attended by 144 golfers plus 15 employee and business partner volunteers.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will assist CHI Franciscan Health System’s enhancement of St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) Cancer Care services that includes the expansion and renovation of their pathology lab. In addition, the funding will help support a larger area for work stations, additional equipment, and increased area for specimen receiving and handling.

The golf tournament can now be included as part of Howard S. Wright’s long history of community support in the Puget Sound region. In addition to raising funds for the CHI Franciscan Health System, the company regularly supports a number of charitable organizations including American Heart Association’s Heart Walk, Rebuilding Together, and NAIOP Community Enhancement program.
