Innovative Healthcare Solutions in Interesting Places
From Silicon Valley to Eastern Europe and beyond, HP's diversification and economies of scale enable us to reach customers at all points across the globe. On January 8, HP Enterprise Services proved this point yet again!
The Enterprise Services Group signed a $27 million agreement with the National Centre for Health Information Systems (CSIOZ), a Polish Ministry of Health entity that is working to develop an e-health environment for the country.
So how will HP help make this happen?
Our innovators and enterprise experts will build and deploy a portal for collecting, analyzing and sharing digital health records across Poland. Enhanced access to health records for authorized users will improve patient service quality and facilitate better health-related decisions at the government level.
In addition, HP will work with CSIOZ to build a portal that patients can use to access their electronic health records. The joint effort will also yield web applications for use by health service providers, pharmacies and public health insurance payers.
“With electronic patient records, providers and patients will have instant access to a complete picture of a patient’s health that will help guide better, fact-based decisions,” said Pawel Czajkowski, managing director, HP Poland. “HP has a strong track record for delivering eHealth solutions in EU countries, which has allowed the team to gather unique knowledge, along with experience that will help Poland improve healthcare for its people.”
The HP-CSIOZ relationship reflects the type of global growth that Meg Whitman believes will drive our turnaround. In the months and years ahead, HP envisions these types of business relationships will become increasingly prevalent in growth markets like China and India.
