The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has taken a strong interest in addressing this entrepreneurial and economic gaps faced by women around the world. In Spring 2014, the Foundation produced From Millions to Billions: Scaling Up Women’s Empowerment Globally, a report that researched women-owned businesses in Mexico. It summarizes the characteristics of women-business owners and how larger international businesses can play a role in increasing the number of potential women entrepreneurs and increase their capacity
