IU House to Become Home: Habitat for Humanity House Is an Early Christmas Present

Twenty-eight-year-old Nettie Garza has three children. During the day, she manages the floral department at a local Kroger store. At night, she shares a bed with the kids in her own parents’ home.
But come December, Garza will have a bedroom of her own for the first time since she can remember, and so will her kids. Their new home is being made possible by a partnership between Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Whirlpool Corp., through Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County.
