Member organization of La Red de Innovación e Impacto, the Nicaraguan Cleaner Production Center (CPmL-N), promotes Sustainable Development, at the initiative of the United Nations for Industrial Development (UNIDO) as part of the “Cleaner Production Center” Program, providing technical solutions to companies to improve its competitiveness while reducing impacts to the environment.
The Cleaner Production (PmL) model supports SMEs in the acquisition and negotiation of technologies and in making group purchases that reduce costs and environmental impact performance with clean technologies, contributing to the protection of the environment and the reduction of poverty. in the countries of Central America.
About LA RED
The U.S. Department of State has funded the World Environment Center (WEC) and its partners, Le Groupe-conseil baastel ltée (Baastel), and RioSlum Studio, to select organizations that are accelerating business development and promoting sustainable economic growth in Latin America. The Program, La Red de Innovación e Impacto (La Red), was established in 2014 and is a collection of 37 innovative solutions from 11 countries in the region.
