Through the La Red de Innovación e Impacto program, WEC and our partners support small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) that are accelerating business development and promoting sustainable economic growth in Latin America. Meet one of our La Red members:
Solidaridad is an international non-profit organization with 50 years of global experience in developing sustainable and inclusive markets.
They focus on linking the actors of the productive chains in innovative solutions to improve production, ensuring the transition towards a sustainable and inclusive economy that maximizes benefits for all.
Fundación Solidaridad is a member organization of La Red de Innovación e Impacto, based on a project carried out in Honduras together with REDMUCH (Red de Mujeres Cacaoteras y Chocolateras de Honduras), helping to position products derived from cocoa and chocolate in national markets and international through commercial alliances.
About LA RED
The U.S. Department of State has funded the World Environment Center (WEC) and its partners, Le Groupe-conseil baastel ltée (Baastel), and RioSlum Studio, to select organizations that are accelerating business development and promoting sustainable economic growth in Latin America. The Program, La Red de Innovación e Impacto (La Red), was established in 2014 and is a collection of 37 innovative solutions from 11 countries in the region.
