Lady Gaga and Born This Way Foundation Working to Create a Kinder World

A new initiative from the Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation is looking to build a kinder and more positive world. The Foundation recently launched Channel Kindness, a platform dedicated to amplifying kindness and bravery. In the current media environment, positive stories are often overlooked or overshadowed—Channel Kindness looks to fix that while empowering youth reporters.

Channel Kindness will equip 50 youth reporters with the tools to share positive and uplifting stories from their schools and communities.  The platform will share the everyday and heroic acts of kindness that fill our daily lives and shape our communities.

The Channel is looking to build a corps of youth reporters who can help share these stories over social media and the Channel Kindness platforms. 

With support from companies like Microsoft, Channel Kindness is a force for good, powered by the passion and purpose of young people.  But for Channel Kindness to work, they need your help! It’s currently accepting applications for their youth reporter corp. From now until October 21, you can apply or nominate a youth between the ages of 16-24 to add your voice to Channel Kindness. Click here to learn more!
