Leaders Gather for NetSuite.org’s “Social Impact, Accelerated” Conference
Last month, more than 50 leaders from charities and social enterprises in the Philippines attended “Social Impact Accelerated” NetSuite.org’s nonprofit technology conference at ImpactHUB Manila.
During this first-ever event, which was designed to provide attendees with tools to maximize their use of NetSuite software to more efficiently run their organization, attendees heard from leading charities like Coca Cola Foundation Philippines, a nonprofit helping to improve access to education, clean water and economic opportunity to hundreds of thousands of Filipinos, and Virlanie Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 1992 to care for children in need of special protection, including the poor, the abandoned, abused, exploited, neglected and orphaned, about their experience implementing NetSuite.
For the second half of the event, attendees were able to sit in on breakout sessions covering topics from how to improve their organization’s online fundraising to how to set up dashboards in the NetSuite system that enable organizations to easily access their financial data.
It was great to see so many nonprofits leverage the opportunity to join us for Social Impact Accelerated. Jen Horn, Founder and CEO of social enterprise Muni, said "there is really so much potential growth for cause-driven organizations if we just learn to harness the power of technology, and I look forward to finding out how NetSuite might be able to help us grow through that."
NetSuite.org thanks ImpactHUB Manila for partnering and providing the space for the event, and for their work to support charities and social enterprises in the Philippines, and everyone who attended.
