Lilly: Trailblazer Award Holds Special Meaning

Last week, the PM360 Trailblazer Awards in New York City named Lilly the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Company of the Year. As I accepted the honor on behalf of our company, I thought about what this award says about the impact we make on people and communities across the globe.

No matter where we work, it seems like the pace of life continues to increase at an accelerating rate. In just trying to accomplish our daily tasks, we can lose site of the bigger picture and the broader significance of our individual contributions. For us, this award underscores the collective impact of my 38,000 colleagues. They are helping make life better for people around the world.
