LIXIL Americas Supports Seattle BLOCK Project
We are proud to be a part of the Facing Homelessness Seattle BLOCK project. Recently, hosts and newlyweds Kathryn and Jeffrey selflessly welcomed Mark to live in their backyard BLOCK Home. Mark was a journalist when he learned he had congestive heart failure. The newspaper he worked for was unable to carry him, so after getting out of the hospital Mark became homeless for six months. It was seriously rough on him, he said, "Every day you have to fight to keep your spirits up, you have to believe in yourself to be able to push forward."
Thank you to all those involved in this impactful program for your hard work, dedication and commitment to community. We are truly proud to be a part of this project and would like to officially welcome Mark to his new home!
