Los Angeles-Based Union Pacific Facility Celebrates 10 Years of Safety

With a watchful eye and a cautious step, Car Department employees at Union Pacific's Los Angeles Transfer Center recently celebrated a 10-year injury-free milestone.

The Union Pacific facility, one of three in Los Angeles, is home to 30 employees who have worked almost 600,000 hours injury free. During the past 10 years, numerous actions have helped the work group reach this milestone, including active participation in the company's Total Safety Culture (TSC) initiative.

The 10-year milestone serves as an example of how looking out for each other and using the proper programs ensure everyone goes home safe each day.
