New Holland Agriculture Promotes the Human Face of Agribusinesses in Brazil
In Brazil, agriculture is currently stimulating intense debate, some of which is not factually based. Given this backdrop, New Holland Agriculture, a global agricultural brand of CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI/ MI: CNH), believes it is important to take a stand to demonstrate the benefits of the Industry. This is being facilitated through the launch of the "Agro, who really knows, admires" campaign.
Farmers are responsible for feeding a nation that is ever-growing and they can sometimes feel overlooked, under-appreciated or little understood by the public at large. The aim of the campaign is to overcome this, bringing information from the countryside to every corner of Brazil.
The campaign seeks to build relationships, based on knowledge, understanding and consideration, and it is this that will form a bridge between the countryside and urban areas. “We know that sharing knowledge is the best way to stimulate dialogue. By revealing the human face of the people who produce the nation’s food, detailing their struggles, challenges, dedication and achievements, I have no doubt that the whole industry will be admired,” says Gustavo Taniguchi, Commercial Marketing Director, New Holland South America.
A video manifesto will kick-off the “Agro, who really knows, admires” campaign. “Our message is that we are open to everyone. We want to speak about ‘real’ agribusinesses. Even without realizing it, many people already admire agribusiness. And with information, we will build a much more consistent dialogue,” said Taniguchi. Developing an understanding between the countryside and the city will help Brazil build a sustainable future for agribusinesses, helping broader development as well as increasing productivity for future generations.
