Open Call for Nominations: AA1000 Standards Board
(3BL Media) London - August 21, 2012 - The Nomination Committee has issued an open invitation to all interested stakeholders to serve on the Standards Board for the AA1000 Series of Standards. The new Board will operate under the mandate laid out in its’ Terms of Reference and will commence its duties in September 2012. The Nomination Committee commented “we are eagerly anticipating a broad range of applicants from across the global stakeholder base of the AA1000 series, and look forward to the establishment of the new Standards Board later this year.”

The Standards Board will provide oversight and guidance on the strategy and development of the AA1000 Series of Standards while AccountAbility AA1000 CIC will continue to act as the Secretariat and Steward of AA1000.
Stakeholders wishing to serve on the Standards Board will have until Monday 3rd September to complete their applications for consideration to the Nominations Committee. Applications should be sent to standards@accountability.org. Nominations will be open to all interested stakeholders, including previous members of the Interim Standards Board, Advisory Council and Technical Committees.
